Talisker 10 years old debuted in the late 1980s as part of the original Classic Malts range.
The range contained six single malts representing Scotland’s whisky production regions and Talisker was selected as representative island malt (excluding the Isle of Islay). Almost 30 years later Talisker 10 years old is still going strong remaining the most popular expression from the distillery. With worldwide sales up 235% within the last decade the brand is now Diageo’s best selling single malt behind only Singleton range, which includes Dufftown, Glendullan and Glen Ord.
