Glenfiddich Small Batch Reserve introduced in 2008 as a replacement of the Ancient Reserve expression has been part of the distillery core range ever since.
The whisky was aged in ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks for at least 18 years. Each batch is a marriage of no more than 150 casks carefully selected by the company Malt Master. In 2015 Glenfiddich Small Batch Reserve scored Gold Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
