Glen Spey Distillery, located in Rothes, has been producing whisky since 1878. It is equipped with two pairs of stills and produces 1.4 million liters of spirit per annum.
Glen Spey malt has been a backbone of J&B blends since the early 1960s and just a fraction has been bottled as single malt. The 12 years old expression was added to Flora & Fauna range in 2001 and was available until the series was phased out at the end of the first decade of the New Century. Currently there is no official bottling of Glen Spey single malt.
