Auchroisk Distillery was founded in 1974 by Justerini & Brooks to supply malt for their famous J&B brand.
The outcome exceeded company’s expectations and 12 years later the whisky was introduced as Singleton of Auchroisk. The owners of J&B, International Distillers & Vintners, became part of Diageo in 1998 and three years later Auchroisk was added to well respected Flora & Fauna series (now sadly discontinued). Official bottlings of Auchroisk became extremely rare, almost entire output goes into Diageo’s blends.
