Jameson, a traditional Irish whiskey made at Midleton distillery in Cork County, is one of the best known Irish whiskey brands in the world. The Gold Reserve expression is predominantly (approx. 75%) made from pot still whiskey – a whiskey distilled in traditional copper pot stills, but with an addition of unmalted barley in the mash. Extremely highly praised by connoisseurs, including Jim Murray, the author of The Whisky Bible.
