The PennyPacker Bourbon was initially developed back in the 1970s for the German importer Borco-Marten-Import. Its presentation exemplifies everything American including an American flag and a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
The brand was pretty successful back in the 1980s, making it number one bourbon in West Germany. PennyPacker has not been introduced in the domestic market until 2013. There is no information regarding its formula other than it is distilled with a minimum of 70% corn. Rumor has it that the juice comes from Heaven Hill Distillery in stainless steel tanks to be bottled at 40% abv in Germany through Borco Imports.
