For most of us the Samaroli label guarantees whisky of the finest quality. Silvano Samaroli entered whisky business in 1968 and focused on bottling exceptional single casks of single malts.
Pretty often, after selecting a cask, the company transfers its content to a different type of wood to shift the style of whisky further away from any officially bottled expressions. Silvano Samaroli passed away in 2017 and the man in charge of operations is now Antonio Bleve. Samaroli Sherry Cask is one of the very few blended whisky expression from the company. The components were distilled in 2003 and aged in sherry cask for about 15 years then bottled in 2018 with an outrun of 422 bottles.
