Evan Williams is the best selling bourbon brand from Heaven Hill Distillery portfolio. It is made from a mashbill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley.
Along with standard bottling every year the company, as the only bourbon producer, releases single barrel vintage expression. The vintages vary slightly but so far the quality has been pretty consistent. Barrels for that bottling usually come from the top floor of warehouse Y. The initial release comprised 1986 Vintage. The 2011 Vintage presented here scored gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirit Competition. Evan William is currently the second best selling bourbon brand with annual sales of 2.4 million cases (2017).
