Bowmore Black Rock was added to the distillery Travel Retail range in 2014 (along with Gold Reef and White Sands) as a replacement for the very popular Enigma.
The name of whisky refers to the Black Rock of the Islay, which rises majestically out of Loch Indaal, and is easy to spot from the distillery window. The whisky is matured predominantly in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, carries no age statement and is bottled at 40% abv.
