Nikka Black Clear was first launched in 1997, when drinkers of Japanese whisky were offered, for the first time, a blended whisky that used only spirits made without the use of peat.
Nose: Mild and light. Some grain whisky notes, malt, a bit of citrus fruit and spices. A hint of cedar wood.
Palate: Light and easy, with notes of grain, cocoa, some fruit and orange zest.
Finish: Not too long, with citrus fruit and toffee.
