The Single Malts of Scotland, launched 2005, is the whisky range from Specialty Drinks Ltd portfolio.
The company is a brainchild of Sukhinder and Raj Singh, two brothers with passion for fine spirits. They went online in 1999 with introduction of The Whisky Exchange, a site which has grown to become the web’s most famous retailer of whisky and fine spirits with a range close to 8000 products available online at anytime. The Single Malts of Scotland are usually single cask expressions bottled of natural color, without chill-filtration and at natural strength. Imperial presented here was distilled on April 16, 1997 and aged in ex-bourbon barrel no. 2473 for over 21 years. Bottled at 50.6% abv on June 23, 2018 with an outrun of 193 bottles. Imperial Distillery stopped producing whisky in 1998; the buildings were demolished in 2013.
