The Teeling family whiskey-distilling heritage goes back to 1782, when Walter Teeling set up the distillery in Dublin.
Over 200 years later John Teeling bought the disused ethanol plant, renamed it Cooley Distillery and after significant investment started distilling grain and malt whiskeys. In 2011 Teeling sold Cooley Distillery to Jim Beam Global and established Teeling Whiskey Company, an Independent Bottling operation. Teeling Small Batch 2018 Release is a blend with high proportion of malt whiskey (about 35%) aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in rum barrels for about six months. It is non-age-statement whiskey bottled at 46% abv without chill-filtration. Both, malt and grain whiskeys were sourced from Cooley Distillery. The set consists of 700ml bottle of Teeling Small Batch Rum Cask and two branded glasses.
