Dalwhinnie 15 years old was part of the original Classic Malts series launched in 1988.
Ten years later Classic Malts were supplemented with Distillers Edition consisting of the same malts but finished in different types of wood; in case of Dalwhinnie it was Oloroso sherry wood. Dalwhinnie 2000 Vintage was part of 2016 Distillers Edition range. The brand sells about 1.2 million bottles per annum, what makes it the 6th most popular single malt in Diageo’s portfolio. Dalwhinnie is also main component of global blends, such as Buchanan’s and Black & White.
