“As we get it” debuted in the early 2000s as part of Ian Macleod’s range and over time gained pretty wide recognition. The range includes two whiskies, Single Islay Malt and Single Highland Malt, both coming from undisclosed distilleries.
They are bottled just “as the Company gets them”, uncut and un-filtered. However the first releases featured whiskies aged for 8 years, the recent ones carry no age statement, only the Ian Macleod’s statement that “they have been matured for many years” (the bottle presented here was part of 2019 release). Ian Macleod & Co. owns three distilleries – Glengoyne in Highlands, Tamdhu in Speyside and since 2017 Rosebank in Lowlands.
