Rhetoric 24 years old, released 2018, is the fifth edition of the brand, part of The Orphan Barrel Whiskey Project introduced by Diageo in the late 2013.
The Orphan Barrel range is a collection of unique American whiskeys (with one exception, Entrapment Canadian whisky) long forgotten and found in the company warehouses. The entire Rhetoric collection will consist of six bourbons aged from 20 to 25 years. The bourbon was distilled in Bernheim Distillery in Louisville from mash composed of 86% corn, 6% rye and 8% malted barley and aged mainly in warehouses of Diageo owned Stitzel-Weller Distillery. In 2019 we should see the final release of Rhetoric, 25 years old.
