Dewar’s 30 years old Ne Plus Ultra was launched on December 1, 2015 and is the oldest expression of Dewar’s whisky to date (Ne Plus Ultra is Latin for “the ultimate”).
The whisky was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and is presented in an elegant wooden box and carrying a certificate of authenticity signed by Dewar’s Master Blender Stephanie Macleod. Dewar’s is currently number 9 best selling Scotch blended whisky with annual sales of 2.6 million cases (2017). The key malts for the blend come from Bacardi-owned distilleries – Aberfeldy, Craigellachie, Aultmore, Royal Brackla and Macduff while grain whisky comes mostly from Cameronbridge Distillery.
