Adnams Brewery was founded in 1872 in Southwold, Suffolk by George and Ernest Adnams on site, where brewing records go back to 1396.
In 2010 the company established Adnams Copper House Distillery for the production of gin, vodka and whisky, with vodka and gin scoring the highest awards at 2013 and 2014 International Wine & Spirits Competitions respectively. It is distilled in copper pot still entirely from east Anglian barley, matured in new French oak casks for a minimum of three years and bottled at 43% abv.
