Tullamore Dew is the second best selling Irish whiskey brand with annual sales of over 13 million bottles (2017).
The original Tullamore Distillery (also known as Daly’s Distillery) operated from 1829 to 1954 and produced triple distilled pure pot still whiskey. After the distillery closed the brand was acquired by Powers and reformulated as a blend. Since 2010 the brand has been owned by William Grant & Sons, who purchased it from Cantrell & Cochrane for 171 million euros and soon built new distillery, which started production in September 2014. Today Tullamore Dew brand features single malt and blended whiskey. The latter is a blend of triple distilled malt, pot still and grain whiskeys aged primarily in ex-bourbon barrels with little addition of ex-sherry casks. The set presented here consists of 700ml bottle of Tullamore Dew and two branded glasses.
