It is hard to believe that in 2017 Johnnie Walker Blue Label celebrated its 25th Anniversary.
Indeed, this super premium blend was created in 1992 with its main components being Caol Ila, Royal Lochnagar and Mortlach. We’ve heard that even a dash of 1923 Auchtertool malt from long gone Lowland distillery was added to the original formula. Every year Diageo supplements the range with limited editions. The one presented here commemorates the opening of The Whisky Shop Paris in April 2016. It is a cask strength edition (55.8% abv), presented in a one-liter porcelain bottle adorned with detailed illustration in blue ink by Good Wives and Warriors artists.
