The name Sestante is well known among whisky connoisseurs and collectors. The legendary Italian whisky importer and bottler operated from the late 1970s until the early 1990s.
Nowadays Sestante bottlings are extremely hard to find, they are cherished by collectors and very seldom offered for sale. In 2010 the Silver Seal Company was founded, regarded as the spiritual successor to the brand. Both brands are currently owned by Massimo Righi, who keeps the original one alive as The Sestante Collection. Here we have an extremely rare expression of Miltonduff, in our opinion bottled in the early to mid 1980s. Whisky spent 21 years in ex-sherry cask and was bottled at 100 Proof (57% abv).
