Dimensions is the recently introduced range from Duncan Taylor & Co. featuring single malt and single grain whiskies aged from 6 to 39 years.
Each whisky included in the range comes from single cask and is usually bottled in its natural form. The expression of Blair Athol from March 2014 comprises whisky distilled in August 1991 and aged in oak cask no. 7237 for 22 years. The cask yielded 236 bottles of cask strength whisky (55.3% abv). Blair Athol Distillery is located in picturesque Victorian town of Pitlochry in Central Highlands, very close to charming Edradour Distillery. Blair Athol malt is a backbone of Bell’s blends.
Nose: sweet and fresh, apples, pears, honeydew melon, orange peel, sponge cake, sultanas, sweet cereals, hints of fennel and cedar wood.
Palate: sweet and spicy, brown sugar, honey, milk chocolate, pears, peaches, white pepper, thyme, oak and faint hint of smoke.
Finish: medium long, fruity with notes of honey, orange peel, candied ginger, hints of herbs and oak.
