Edradour Distillery was founded by local farmers as cooperative in 1825. After almost 200 years, of whisky making it’s distilling capacity is roughly 130,000 liters of spirit per annum.
Since 2002 Edradour Distillery has been owned by one of the leading Independent Bottlers, Signatory Vintage Co. Each year the distillery releases several limited editions aged and finished in various types of wood. Here we have whisky distilled in 2000 and aged originally in ex-bourbon barrels then transferred into ex-Barolo hogsheads for 46 months. Bottled at natural strength of 56.1% abv on May 29, 2017 with an outrun of 893 bottles.
