For many years Edradour marketed itself as Scotland’s smallest distillery. Well, it is not the case anymore since several distilleries, which came into scene within last several years, show lower capacities.
In 2002 Edradour was purchased by Signatory Vintage, an Independent Bottling Company owned by Andrew Symington. The product range expanded immediately making this small distillery (130,000 liters of spirit per annum) one of the most innovative whisky producers. The Natural Cask Strength bottling presented in handsome decanter was introduced in 2003 and immediately caught customers’ attention. Here we have 2015 release comprising whisky distilled in February 2003, aged in American oak casks and bottled at natural strength with an outrun of 1442 bottles.
