Some whisky drinkers believe that Glen Garioch is the weakest link in the Morrison Bowmore portfolio, a statement we strongly disagree with.
The distillery founded in 1797 is currently equipped with three stills (yet only two are in use) and produces very hearty Highland malt. Glen Garioch 2010 Vintage, part of Douglas Hamilton The Clan Denny Selection, comprises whisky aged in refill barrel no. DH 11193 for 6 years. Douglas Hamilton is a subsidiary of Douglas Laing & Co., one of the most respected independent bottlers.
