Jack Daniel’s is definitely the best selling and most likely the most collectable American Whiskey brand.
Commemorative, limited editions raise adrenaline to dangerous level in every whiskey collector and are crème de la crème of any whiskey auction. We are all perfectly aware how very important role barrelhouses play in the whiskey-making process. The first batch of Jack Daniel’s Barrel House 1 was released in the summer of 1994 to commemorate one of the distillery oldest and most famed warehouses, a 7-story building named “Barrel House 1” and remains the most common a collector may come across. A much smaller batch was produced in the winter of 1999 and a bottle presented here was part of that batch. The whiskey was bottled at 47% abv and is presented in wooden box. It is worth to note that Barrel House 1 was the first Jack Daniel’s expression to be legally sold at the distillery since 1909.
