Highland Park Fire Edition, a follow-up to 2016 Ice Edition, is the newest expression celebrating the Viking roots of Orkney Islands and inspired by Norse mythology.
With the World of Ice (Niflheim) and the World of Fire (Muspellsheim) being the first realms of the Vikings’ universe. The Fire Edition refers to the mythical fiery destruction and rebirth of the world according to the local myth. The whisky was aged exclusively in refill port casks for 15 years and bottled at 45.2% abv with an outrun of 28 000 bottles. The red bottles are presented in dark charcoal wood cradles matching the Ice Edition (green bottles).
