Glencadam is rather small distillery with the annual output of 1.3 million liters of spirit. Since 2003 it has been owned by Angus Dundee, a company controlled by the Hillman family, with core part of their revenue coming from blending operations. Until the end of the 20th Century Glencadam single malt was available only through independent bottlers, the distillery was part of Allied Domecq and supplied spirit to the Ballantine’s and Teacher’s brands. Glencadam 25 years old ‘The Remarkable’ was released in the early 2016 with an outrun of 1600 bottles. It comprises whisky aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
