Sotol is a spirit somewhat resembling tequila and mescal, but made with Dasylirion wheeleri agave, often referred to as desert spoon, spoon flower or simply sotol. Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Anejo was made with 100% wild desert spoon, with the use of champagne yeast, bottled directly after distillation, with no oak cask maturation.
Nose: youthful and clear, with spice and some smoky notes
Palate: minty agave, some spice and floral notes
Finish: spice and floral notes
