The Broken Bell brand was developed by Distillers Sales Company of Princeton, Minnesota. Distillers Sales is a division of United States Distilled Spirits Co., producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages with distribution in 32 countries. The company does not reveal which distillery supplies whiskey for the Broken Bell brand; we are guessing that it is located in the state of Minnesota. There is more that a dozen distilleries in that state but most of them opened in 2013 and later. The only two “old enough” to supply bourbon are Panther Distillery founded in 2011 and Phillips Distilling Company founded 1912. The label features the cracked Liberty Bell, an iconic symbol of the American Independence.
