Bushmills Millennium Malt is considered by many as the ultimate Irish whiskey. In 1975 the distillery laid down 365 casks to be bottled at the turn of the new millennium. The price of each cask was about £5000 and each cask yielded about 250 bottles. Since buying a cask was the only purchase option many bottles ended up on e-bay and various auctions. Bushmills Millennium Malt remains one of the most collectible Irish whiskeys and the oldest Bushmills officially bottled. Our bottle was drawn from cask # 83 selected for Liquor Barn, Kentucky.
