In 2012 Charles Hamilton Ltd. released a range of regional single malt whiskies. The regions include Speyside, Highlands Islay and Lowlands. Each region was presented in its own distinctive color scheme. The packaging for each expression describes the characteristics of the highlighted region with geographical illustrations and a whisky map of Scotland. The whiskies included in the range are bottled at 40% abv and without age statement. Hamilton Lowland Single Malt is a young whisky, with profile typical to Lowland malts. Charles Hamilton Ltd. operates as subsidiary of Angus Dundee Distillers, the company owned and run by the Hillman family. Angus Dundee owns distilleries in Highlands (Glencadam) and in Speyside (Tomintoul) but not in Lowlands.
