Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold debuted in November 2013 in Singapore Changi International Airport and in following months was introduced in major Travel Retail outlets in Asia Pacific region.
No. 27 Gold is crafted to the same standards as the Old No. 7 brand but it undergoes additional production stages – double barreling and double mellowing. It is twice filtered through sugar maple charcoal and extra matured in toasted maple barrels for 6 to 12 months (the angel’s share in that kind of wood is tremendous, up to 20% in 6 months). No. 27 Gold is Travel Retail exclusive currently available solely in Asia Pacific region.
Nose: smooth, vanilla, caramel, honey, maple syrup, orange zest and toasted oak.
Palate: creamy, vanilla, honey, maple, stewed apples, sweet spice and toasted oak.
Finish: fairly long, smooth, fruit and charcoal.
