Gran Patron Burdeos Anejo Tequila, made from the best specimens of blue agave grown in the Mexican region of Jalisco, is distilled to 55% vol. It matures in a combination of American and French oak casks for 12 months, after which it is redistilled and poured into hand-picked ex-wine casks from the most renowned chateaux in Bordeaux, France. It is offered in crystal bottles placed in suede lined boxes made of a single piece of black walnut.
Nose: sweet, smooth, complex, notes of vanilla, dried fruits, raisins
Palate: velvety smooth, sweet, notes of raisins, vanilla, citrus, only a hint of agave
Finish: long, elegant, with dried fruit, raising, some oak
